If you are a Windows user, you will notice the nice looking logon screen which is displayed when Windows starts. This screen allows selecting a user account from the ones available. Still, the problem with the logon screen is that it cannot be changed. Having the same screen for a long time can be boring and one may want to change the screen and add his own image. Unfortunately, Windows doesn't allow doing this. But there are some applications which can change the logon screen and replace it with any image file. One of those applications is Logon Screen.
This simple Windows application is compatible with any version of the operating system and can be installed in a very simple way. Running the program is also very simple, as the user just needs to load his desired image and then click on the Apply button. Optionally, he can make some additional adjustments, like setting a certain piece of text to be displayed in the logon screen, enabling the shut down button or displaying the user accounts.
In case the user wants to have his original logon screen back, he can use the Restore function which will clearly restore the original logon screen image.
Pros
It allows replacing the Windows logon screen with the user's own image, using a very simple interface. Besides that, it can configure some aspects regarding the logon screen, like displaying some text or hiding the shut down button and user accounts. What's more, the original logon screen can be easily restored.
Cons
The program cannot modify the logon screen without restarting the computer first. Logon Screen allows you to change the Windows logon screen with your own image, in a very simple way.
